Despite conceding three goals in the first 11 minutes, the Panthers could take some positives from this match.

Man of the Match Tom Brett put in a barnstorming display in defence, saving his team time and time again with fearless tackles and last-ditch clearances.

And Adam Renard’s 39th minute goal was a cracker, as he dribbled half the length of the pitch and somehow evaded the attentions of six opponents before squeezing the ball past the keeper from close range.

And for once it didn’t rain…
